South West Coast Path

I’m still scratching my head as to why I’d never even heard of the 630 mile long South West Coast Path! Now admittedly I’m from the North, and Cornwall is bloody miles away. Infact had a good friend of mine not relocated to Falmouth it’s quite possible I would never have set foot on England’s longest way-marked footpath. I guess some things are just meant to be – I’ve got the bug and I will be back.

Walking next to the ocean is truly something special and the path is surprisingly undulating – I love the Wikipedia statistic stating that the entire path has an elevation gain roughly equivalent to climbing Everest four times! Anyhow I encourage you to check it out and hope you’ll be greeted by a epic sky just like this one on Cormwall’s Lizard Peninsula !
