A kitesurfer pulls a straight ‘air’ on a cold winters day at Ainsdale beach. In the background is the famous Blackpool tower, and ‘The Big One’ roller coaster which hurtles towards the sea at speeds reaching 74 mph (119 km/h) from a height of 72m above sea level. To prove it was winter you can also see the snow covered mountains of the Lake District beyond!
